Hi Im Sarah Durrant and I guess I have wanted to create a BMH Hannover web site for some time, so here it is. I have seen web sites for BMH Munster and Rinteln, so I hope you enjoy this one too.
BMH Rinteln stood on a tree line avenue called Waldkater Allee in the sleepy little town of Rinteln somewhere nice in Germany. The view of the forest and Klippenturm from the hospital will live in my memory forever. Check out the photo on the photo page of the view over the Weser towards the swimming pool and Klippe. Anyone who served at Rinteln will have very fond memories of a period in their lives that cannot be relived. The BMH is now closed and Heubies is no more.
If you've ever served at BMH Munster then you will have many happy memories of a period in your life that can never be relived. BMH Munster has now closed, along with a number of other Military Hospitals around the globe. The army medical services are not like they used to be. Like me, you probably made many friends in Munster and have happy memories of NAAFI disco's, The Ahsee, the Student Quarter and Jazz bars. Also like me, you may wonder from time to time, what happened to so and so, or who married who etc etc. IF so then this site is for you. Please feel free to leave a message or contact details in the guestbook on the contact page.
As an Operating Department Practitioner, you're part of the team of professionals caring for patients during and after medical operations. You may be treating injured soldiers in field hospitals close to the front line. Wherever you are, you need to keep your cool to support the surgeons and anaesthetists you work with.
This is a group of serving and retired British Army OTTs/ODPs/ODAs Regular and Reserve, We have no rules other than those conventions that govern good behaviour, no subscriptions and no committees. Serving and retired members are full voting members of the group. All widows, widowers, spouses and partners are associate non voting members of the group. We come together to honour and remember those who have passed on and to lend a supporting hand to those who may need it from time to time. Members have a moral duty to look out for each other, support and help comrades, their partners and families who may be experiencing difficulties, perhaps by a phone call, a card or a visit.
Welcome to the 205 (Scottish) Field Hospital (Volunteers) section of the Army website. We are Scotland's only Territorial Army Field Hospital.
We are a hospital just like any other with the same highly trained clinically current professionals providing first class healthcare delivery, as you would find within the NHS.
The Army Medical Services (AMS) Reservists are employees of NHS Scotland; same people, different environment.
World Community Grid brings people together from across the globe to create the largest non-profit computing grid benefiting humanity. It does this by pooling surplus computer processing power. We believe that innovation combined with visionary scientific research and large-scale volunteerism can help make the planet smarter. Our success depends on like-minded individuals – like you.
